I've seen professional organizers advertised on Craigslist at times, and have noticed that many of them are not really extremely expensive if you only would need them for a few hours - to per hour.
Has anyone ever used their services?
GypsyWomyn, I'm really good at ogranizing other people too. Maybe you could find someone else who needs some help getting organized and 'trade' with them. You could help them organize their stuff and they could help you organize your stuff. It helps me to have someone else there just to give me some objectivity and ideas and also to keep me on task. Plus someone is coming over, so you have to do it when they're there, no procrastinating. You can make it into a little organizing party and then treat yourselves to ice cream or a night out or a pedicure, whatever you want when you're done. Maybe when I get the floor a little cleared, I'll take her up on it. She's the only one I haven't been too embarrassed to invite in. And we do both LOVE ice cream.
