ADHD AND FOOTBALL | ADHD Information

OK i need some advice from everyone, my 11 year old son who is a die hard athlete, want to play football this fall. So sign ups are on this sat., here is the problem it won't effect this year as much as next, he right now weighs 61 pounds, for his division he qualifies as older lighter, which is 55- 80 pounds. I have him on high calorie shakes in hope that he will start gaining weight, but he gets very sick of them. He now has one every once and a while, and says he'll start back up in July. The Dr. has said the shakes are fine and should work. Does anyone have any advice on how he  can gain more weight, i also need to add he's very picky and does not eat meat. When he is 12 he has to be at least 70 pounds to even play, so I'm worried he's going to love the game and not gain the weight. Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't recommend it with out Dr advise but my son 12 years old, 65 pounds went off his meds during the summer for 2 weeks he gained 12 poundsI just saw your reply to med free weekends forget I ever mentioned it!
