Morning people, the world would be so much better off without them.  ..... Oh, and Morning People must die.
Ouch! But I'm sorry, I'm a morning person, always have been, and don't think I'm a fake.      However, I used to get upset when at work I'd say "good morning" to someone and they ignored me. I thought they were just being rude. It never occurred to me they were off somewhere else being as "bear."   I now understand, thank you.

It's also easier being a morning person when you live alone, like I do and prefer to do. I can understand how it may be difficult when there are others around perhaps influencing you.

I still love you all! And hope you still like me *GASP!!!* An evil morning person! That's it, we're never speaking to you again!

Kidding, of course. Of course we still like you!

Gypsy -

Of course we still like you.

And, I'm sure that you aren't like the people that I was writing about.

Gosh, I sure hope I'm not! And since I live alone and not working, I'll have to take your word for it.

Thanks Yellowdog and bcgirl!
And, how about the people who have something for you to do right when you walk in the door - before you even have five minutes to settle into your space.

Auuugh!!!! That's almost even worse!!!
Do those super-perky, chipper morning people drive you nuts??? It's all I can do to drag myself out of bed and get to work on time... it just bugs me to no end to be greeted by a "Hi!! Good morning!!! Isin't it just a gorgeous day out there today!"  Usually all I can muster in response is a half-hearted "sure".

I actually find myself frowning first thing in the morning, I think to keep people from approaching me!

People who are really "perky" on a day to day basis seem fake to me - and, they seem even more fake in the morning than later in the day.  These days I'm usually able to go along with it a little externally but internally i have a very different response to them.

i keep having to remind myself that i want this experience to go well - and, in my current situation, if i want this to "go well" then  i have to go along with it to some extent but - it's hard sometimes...

And, how about the people who have something for you to do right when you walk in the door - before you even have five minutes to settle into your space.  They make me feel like they're the one's with the disorder... but, of course i deal with it a little more diplomatically these days -
Also, when so many things go badly durring the day it's hard to get all giddy about another day like that.
VERY good point! My sentiments exactly!
I don't think they're being fake, I think they really feel good in the am.  It makes sense that one should feel good after a full nights rest.  However, it looks like many on this board don't sleep well at all, myself included.  Also, when so many things go badly durring the day it's hard to get all giddy about another day like that.  Plus, the not doing well with switching tasks, places, etc. thing, it's  a wonder we get up and face the day at all.   Everyone give yourself a hug and pat on the back for just getting up!
I'm pretty sure that the people i'm thinking of are fake.  Of course, i guess i'm also fake when i go along with it and i've decided that's my preference for now.

however, maybe you're right - i'm not in their skin so how do i know.

LOL, I'm not a morning person and I can't even speak to someone unless I have my cup of coffee first.

I'm pretty sure that the people i'm thinking of are fake.

Ok, Yea there are fake people out there, and when you work with people you find them out fast.  I just meant many morning people really are chipper in the am.  Also, it doesn't mean you're fake cause you agree with them, you could be agreeing with 'yes, it's a nice morning' and just leaving out 'but MY morning sucks!'

Mcdonald's have a comercial a few years ago which I just loved, it had a guy driving to work and he was a werewolf, and when people said 'good morning' he just GROWLED!  Then got his coffee at Mcd's and turned back into a human.  Described my mornings to a T! lol

I totally agree!  When I was going to school, my parents always said "good morning"  and I just went ERRRRR.  I think it always offended them, but I just hate the morning.

"unimpressed" when it comes to waking up, and many can be VERY mean, tempermental and violent when their sleep is disturbed.

I know I feel this way for a good hour after I get up in the morning unless I can be alone in the house for awhile (and get acquainted with my coffee) before having to communicate with humanity. However, that can be hard. I am living with a non-ADD roommate and a very ADD bf. Mornings certainly are interesting in our house. I yell at my roommate for awhile, and then try to console my bf and avoid setting him off.

Ahhh... the joy

Morning people, the world would be so much better off without them.  I crack my first Diet Coke when I get out of bed, it's the only thing that makes me bearable on a weekday.  I think that even without the ADHD insomnia that I am plagued with, my biological clock is set for me waking up about 8:00 to 9:00 am.  Not the 6:00 am I am resigned to.  I am a totally different person on a weekend morning just because I don't need an artificial aid to wake up.  Oh, and Morning People must die.
