Do Herbal Formulas Work? | ADHD Information

Has anyone tried herbal ADD supplements, and if so, which worked best for you? I can't afford to go to a doctor right now, so I am going to try that route until I can save money for health insurance.

Hi,

My BF uses BeCalmd and Brainquicken... you can find out more information online and order them from the net. He said they help him to focus and make his brain feel clearer/sharper.

I'm new here, and new to dealing with the difficulties of ADD.  Not new to the difficulties, just new to dealing with them.

I have, for the last five days, been taking L-tyrosine--an amino acid supplement--and have felt much improved for doing so.

I work in retail, and my tills have consistently been four to twenty dollars off for years.  I am fortunate to have an employer for the past ten years who recognizes my other skills and doesn't stress out over this problem.  I, however, do, and I have ruined many a day after work obsessing over my mistakes and how dumb I must be to be so sloppy and error-prone.

The past four days, my tills have been within a dollar every day, which is pretty good, as it is a very high volume business we do.

I feel much more focused since I started taking the L-tyrosine, and am able to sit and read for two or three hours straight without feeling squirmy and like I need to be doing something else.  This is a very big deal for me, as I love to read, but can only do so for a half hour or so before I feel like I want to read something else (regardless of how good the book is) or engage in another activity altogether.

I have way more energy, and I feel positive about myself in a way that is sort of new to me.   I've also been taking 5-HTP and that has helped with depression I've been enduring.  But the L-tyrosine is what has helped with my focus.
