I also like a variety: mostly pop, rock, some new age, and I still like some of the techno variety. I occassionally listen to classical - I like Vivaldi's Spring.
I have always been drawn to dance music. The bouncy beat keeps my moods high. It seems to bother the tired people waiting on the train every morning yet I don't understand why.

Hello everyone. I read in Dr. Amen's book Healing ADD it is good to listen to music to feed your brain.
Dr. Amen suggested listening to classical, I prefer all kinds of music. I mostly like fast type's of music, like dance and rock. Just curious what everyone else likes.
I eat everything but I dont really go looking for food my friends feed me
The thing I like to listen to the best are voices, not singing voices, speaking voices. if I can find a good news program or anything educational on I would prefer to listen to that. For the most part, I find myself not listening to music at all. My music listening happens on rare occasions. Depending upon the music it can just freak me out. However, when I do listen to music it will usually be rock and roll. Also, I listen to classical because it's soothing and I want to stimulate as many brain cells as I can. And, I listen to jazz sometimes as well.
I picked rock/hard rock because it seemed the broadest. What I really like is Good music whether gospel, rock, blues, jazz, classical, raggae, rap, steel drum, country, big band, .......
to listen to classical music while typing, because I feel like a concert pianist.
