Okay, here's the thing. I haven't been "diagnosed" with ADHD, but I think I have it. I decided that I'd look up the symptoms, and I have all of them but one. I even discovered the cause of why I might have the disease. Now the problem comes in where how do I stop this... I told my mom today, concerned about my mental health. She said I don't have ADHD because I can "control it". Well see, I can't really. I mean when I'm told to calm down I have to turn away so they can't see I'm still doing it. Most say by the time your 7 or 8, it starts to go away but this has been getting worse as the years go by. Its not a discipline problem, because I am sure disciplined. Help me with this please... I want to make sure I'm okay.

IF YOUR MOM WILL AGREE THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO SOME FREE TESTING WITH A BOCES PROGRAM OR SOMETHING LIKE IT.(DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE ALL THE SAME) MY SON HAS BEEN TESTED FOR HYPERACTIVITY, MOODS. LD'S AND WHATEVER ELSE ALL FREE OF CHARGE. HE IS GETTING HELP NOW. HOW ARE YOUR GRADES? ADHD SOMETIMES SUFFERS IN THIS AREA ALSO.
