I have a question...I have read all the signs and symptoms of adult add and I do have a few of them but i'm not sure just wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms...I'm always tired...I feel like I can never get anything done..I'm a MAJOR procrastinator...No motivation to do things (although I am in college getting my nursing degree). But my main thing is I am always really, really tired..And my body will feel achy like I'm just through for the day ya know?..Also I didn't graduate high school had no initiative to go and noone made me go so basically I didn't...I'm never hyper or anything really and am not any more moody than the next person but I do feel like things just aren't right like there is air in my head or something..lol...Thanks for any help....Kelly
Hi Kelly,
I'm also a nursing student and I just started taking ritalin for my (primarily) "innattentive" add about a month ago and I noticed an increase in my concentration level. I was having such a hard time. How are you doing in this program with all of these symptoms? That has to be tough, I know it's VERY tough for me! Nursing requires ALOT of concetration and determination and right now I have a D in the course but I think I did real well on this last test so I'll find out tomorrow, and I can't wait. I KNOW i have add, but my ego wouldn't let me accept it for a long time.
I FINALLY started meds!
Ditzychick,
I'm actually believe it or not doing pretty good in the courses..but I just stay so tired all the time that I lose focus easily...I'm a cramer(sp?)..I wait till the last minute to study..Overall though i'm doing pretty good..Thanks for the input my husbands insurance takes affect in May and I'm gonna go see a doc..But would I see a psych. for these symptoms or my primary doc..?
Thanks again,
Kelly
