left or right | ADHD Information
my therapist said that like 80%of adhd people are left handed....is that true and why??? i was just wondering if you were right or left handed and if you have heard this as well..

I have never been diagnosed, but am certain to have ADD and I am left-handed.
My son who has been been diagnosed ADHD/ODD is right handed.
I have not heard anything in regards to percentages......

It used to be that I was right-hand dominant in most aspects....but with my boredom came good time to practice equalling my right and left!....Although I'm still slightly dominant right/left depending upon the activity.Right-handed, diagnosed ADHD.me and both of my other 2 sisters are left handed....i pretty sure me and my oldest sister have ad/hd (though, she doesn't think so..
)...my middle sister, i'm not sure...she may have it...all i know is she is very willful and stubborn, but she has done so well in life that I think maybe she might not have ad/hd at all...but she is left handed...all 3 of us are.My 6 year old son who is adhd is also left handed..
My son is a lefty.
And if you're a mom....I think we're all ambidextrous!!! But I guess I'm thinking of other things than writing.....cooking, answering the phone, turning down the television, dishes, etc. 
My mother and sister both show signs of ADD, but are undiagnosed. They are both right-handed as well.
