Heck yeah, and one of them has caused problems in relationships. If a girls breath is even just a wee bit 'funky' I loose any and all desire to kiss her. Might get a quick peck on the lips, but that's about it. I can't stand cigarette smoke or the smell of it afterwards. I would never even consider a date with a smoker.
I've also always had a weak stomach. PBS specials on open heart surgery send me reeling.
The following was a response to us women who stated we have a difficult time with our sensitivity to, and therefore often offended by, certain scents, like some perfumes, colognes, whether we're pregnant or not.
at least to us women. Don't any of you at least gag at the smell of brussel sprouts or some other food you dislike immensely?
Or is 'floof' correct that men are never bothered by 'such trivial stuff'? hmmmm?
I am very sensitive to smells, and among my least favorite are colognes. But I also strongly dislike the smell of cooking food wafting down my apartment building hallways as I make my way to my own apartment. Oh, and there's a scent called "Egyptian Musk"--an oil, I believe, that I really dislike, too.
I do, however, love the smell of baking breads or cookies in the hallways, and certain other oils on people are nice, like fig or lavender.
I am very scent oriented. I love the ones I love alot, and really hate the ones I don't!

My best friend's husband is the pickiest person I've EVER met - certain sounds, flavours, textures, smells, etc drive him nuts.
I really don't belive having a very negative physical reaction to
perfumes and other strong chemical smells makes me insane or neurotic.Nah, it's just women. Damned strange creatures, don't you know.
