Ritalin LA 20 mg | ADHD Information

 I was on strattera for my ADD but it was making me sick and VERY tired,today my doctor changed it to Ritalin LA 20 mg,1 times daily.I know medication works differently on everyone but could you tell me what some of the dise effects are and wht you think of this med.Thank you so much!

wellbutrin made my heart race - didn't like it at all.
I do 30 mg Ritalin LA.
Whew baby I like it. A lot.
I have realized that I get a rapid heart beat when the medication kicks in. I went to see a cardiologist she said with me being on Ritalin La and Wellbutrin this will happen. She said It was ok for me because my heart is healthy.Have had no side effects with Ritalin SR 20mg (well none that I know of ).  Absolutely love it but cannot offer u a comparison as I have not been on other ADD meds.

Suggest you check out the manufacturers website for a full list of possible side effects.  I would ignore the "death by ritalin" sites!

I do 20mg LA in the morining before class and another 10mg at night before work.  I think it is a combination that works well for me although I wonder if the morning dose should not be a 30mg.  No side effects and I am able to focus on my reading for longer periods of time.  I am a bit gabby though.
