He won't take it because of the taste. He has no problems taking pills in general.
Well thanks for the replies anyway!
Wake them up early just to take the pill and say you won't let them go back to sleep until they take it. They might be rejecting strattera because of the nausea. As far as I am aware there is no liquid form of Strattera. All the literature says that you should not open the capsule becuase it has the time release mechanism built into it. That said my daughters psychiatrist says well if they won't swallow the capsule then taking it out of the capsule is better than not taking it at all. You might want to try that with some pudding or yogurt.
My daughter would not take any pills for the longest time. I finally got her to do it by telling her that I thought she could swallow pills but was to afraid to try. I told her If she would try and was successfull I would give her . I then added that if she could swallow a pill that I would expect her to do so all the time and she was only getting dollars one time. That worked and she has been swallowing not only capsules but also tablets since then.

Is there a liquid form of Straterra? My son has been on it since September of last year, but has probably only taken it half the time. It really is the best of any he's taken so far. He is plenty old enough to take pills, but just fights me horribly about it.
I have seen there is an Aderrall in liquid, but would rather try what he's on now before talking to the doc about switching.
Thanks in advance!
