De-cluttering... read this! | ADHD Information
Hey,
I just discovered this thing called Freecycle where you post
offers of stuff you no longer want, and people come get it. Once you've
offered one thing you can then make requests or take stuff that other
people are offering.
It's competely free, kind of a cooperative effort, anyway it's
SUPER helpful to me because I try to have as few belongings as possible
in order that I can keep track of everything. Since I'm moving I need
to get rid of some things anyway so I checked it out. I'm unloading a
bunch of stuff I don't want anymore and getting a free dresser!
In order to maintain privacy and be safe, a lot of people just
meet and exchange the item in a public place, or leave larger items on
the front porch or curb for the person to pick up.
If you don't like it you just unsubscribe from the group. The
only bad thing I can think of is that when you make an offer, all the
responses can get confusing as you have to pick just one of course.
I've dealt with this by ignoring/deleting anyone's response who can't
pick it up right away, because as you all know, having to wait for
anything is intolerable!
Anyway I just thought I'd share this with you all, because if
you're like me- and I know you are LOL- you need to de-clutter!
