Strattera and Women, Question | ADHD Information

i have actually ahd the complete opposite.  I have had horrible cramps all my life.  I had endometriosis and had a laproscopic surgery to remove scar tissue, I had some kids and now that I am done, it is back. (was that too much info?) But anyway, I when it came time for my cycle, I had no cramps! None, for the first time in my life. I cant explain?????

I hope you get that checked out.

I have had the opposite. My Periods come like clock work now, and my cramps arent as intense. Although I do remember when I first started strattera, my first period while on the meds my cramps were really bad, but every time after that its been fine.

I have been taking Strattera for about 6 weeks now. OK results, nothing spectacular, but better than with no meds.........I was scheduled to start my "monthly" about a week after I started the Strattera, which I was kinda scared of, since I've read here that some women have horrible cramps when they're taking it. Problem is I never started !!!  Preg test is neg........and i have NO symptoms of being preg. ( I do have a child, so I know how I feel when preg). Has any other women had this happen ??? I wonder if it is the Strattera or just my screwed up body. My cycles have been very regular the last 5 years or so  but before that I would be a week to two late every now and then , especially if I was going through a stressful time, which was often!!! But here lately I've been very regular....and even when I was "irregular" I was never more than two weeks late...........

We were TRYING to get pregnant a couple of years ago, went through the whole infertility testing woes and found out that it was BOTH of us. My problem is not severe, but my husband has severely low sperm count. Which, after two years of hormone replacement hasn't improved, so the likelihood of being preg is one in a billion.....but it would be more than OK....

I know that OTC preg tests can be wrong, but with no other symptoms, I can be fairly sure that it is correct, and I can always go to the doc and get a blood test.

Anyway...............Back to the question.........Has any other women had problems with their cycle while taking Strattera??????????  thanks for all the support here, I don't have time to post here too often but read the board at least twice a day....gotta get my "fix"............Kimberly

Hey, first girl, when I tried Strattera at first I was a little messed up as well, after a bit things went back to normal. I think some people's bodies just need to make a little adjustment. I don't take Strattera anymore, but it is unrelated to that. I just thought it worked better as maybe an anti-depressant (which I am not clinically depressed) than it did for my focus problems, time disassociation and hyperness.
