Adhd meds causing hypothryroidism
My daughter is 8 and 1/2 and has been on Concerta for about
almost 2 years and remeron to help her fall asleep at night for about a
year. She has a hard time shutting down at night so the doc. has her on
the remeron........Now today I find out she has hypothyroidism. I
looked up some info and find some correlations with ADHD meds causing
hypothyroidism. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM come up with their
child. Now, I don't know if she was misdiagnosed wrong in the first
place or if the meds are causing the thyroid problems............This
is so heart breaking for me for her to have to be dealing physically
with all this..........Any help and or advice is appreciated ...............Thanks, Shawna
