I got arrested for marijuana a while ago and havn't smoked since. I have NIDA 5 UA Tests every wednesday at 6 pm and I only have about 4 weeks left. Saturday morning i took 40 mg of Adderall XR. Most sites say that Adderall is detectable 1-3 days after use. I'm pretty skinny weigh about 120 drink alot of water and excersize frequently. Do you think I will pass? Also, most sites say the cutoff limit for Amphetamines(Adderall) is 1000 ng/ml, is 40 mg more than that? This situation is really stressing me out, if you have any suggestions or advice please reply as soon as possible. It really begs the question why you would risk getting popped by taking the meds before a drug test. Have you come to grips with a possible drug addiction? Switching meds from pot to ADD prescription pills may not be what you need.

I thought it would get out of my system in 1-3 days and not be detectable. Do you think i will test positive?

No, a friend gave it to me, but thanks anyway. Ill drink alot of gatorade, cranberry juice, green tea, and water untill then.

I have no idea who you are or even if you are for real. But if you are, I would highly suggest you get some cold, honest advice and insight from someone who is not not going to blow sunshine up your a*s about the trouble you are in.

I say this as someone who spend literally 8 years of my life stoned before I came to grips with the fact that I had an addiction problem. Getting arrested for posession is not something that happens to a person leading a healthy, positive life. Do not listen to all the crap you will hear from pot smokers about how it is harmless, not addictive, etc.

If getting arressted wasn't enough and getting popped on a urine test is what you need for a wake-up call, then perhaps that will be the best thing that ever happened to you. Good luck.

First off, marijuana is only mentally addicting, not physically addicting. You can quit cold turkey and have absolutely no side effects. I know, I did it.

As for your ADD drugs, I think there are many exceptions to drug tests, especially if it is a drug prescribed by a doctor for a specific ailment.
So you know for a fact i will fail?Oh, I have no idea if you will fail or not. Have you tried the Golden Seal trick? My roomate did it and it worked. It's a lot to do though, you have to drink the Golden Seal tea and a ton of cranberry juice.

What I meant in my last post is that if you have been prescribed Adderall by your doctor to help you then if it is detected then it might not matter. They might need a note from your doctor or something. Drug tests are given to make sure people are not on bad drugs. Adderral is a drug that helps you and is prescribed by a doctor. Pot is not.

I suppose a quote like that speaks for itself. For those a little more intellectually inclined, do your own reseacrh and you will find marijuana withdrawal manifests itself both phyically and emotionally. That it didn't happen to one guy is statistically meaningless.

To the fellow who got busted with pot it seems you are just ignoring my advice, which is your perogative. For your sake I hope you do test positive, sometimes these things are blessings in disguise. All the best.

Actually, I am intellectually inclined (Psychology degree) and that is why there is research that marijuana is only has mental withdraw effects (which are minor) but not physical effects. Sure, you might have some weight gain or something like that, however, you are not going to go through withdrawl like a heroin addict.

I have been there and done that. Marijuana is the easiest habit in the world to break and if it is really effecting one's life then they should just get it out of their life.

[/QUOTE]I have a Psychology degree, that is how I know the effects of marijuana (and from experience) and that there are no harmful physical or mental side effects. If there are any side effects they are only mental and those are easy to overcome. I know from experience. You just do it.

I hate to sound like an older sibiling who is lecturing you , but why the hell would you do something so stupid if you a) you know you are tested every week and b) you did so well and only had 4 weeks left?

Unless you were prescribed the Adderall, I'm afraid this might be another one of those "lessons" in life.  I'm truly not trying to be mean here, but did you consider the consequences when you took the Adderall?
