both my husband and me have ad/hd.
my husband is working on trying to start a business. I think he pretty much has everything worked out. but I am worried, because his excitement about stuff wears off (you know how it is, when you lose interest and never finish something), and he may get in the midst of doing the business and decide he doesn't wanna do it anymore.
He has talked of starting businesses before, and tried to, but never followed through....(we have catering stuff lining closets, because he started trying to do a catering business, and then his gusto for it just kinda ran out...) He has never gotten as far into a business as he is now, he is more fired up to make it work because I am pregnant and he really wants to make sure that me and his son are well taken care of.......
But I am worried. He is not being treated for his ad/hd right now, but I have scheduled the both of us an appointment because I want to make sure that if he goes through with it, then his/our ad/hd is well under control...
what do you all think?>>.
no, he does not have a business partner. it is not like a large store, or nothing like that, it's more like a little one or two veh roadside assistance thing....it is very small. depending on how well it does, he says that if it really takes off, he is going to hire an accountant. i'm not sure who he would have for a business partner....not sure if he would be open to that idea.....he is very set in his decisions..... you know how ad/hders get their mind set on something..I have a small side business that is pretty successful. My problem is keeping up with all the paperwork! I have a regular job as well. I think if I started a business and I knew that was the only income, that despite my ADHD, I would have to go through with it to keep food on the table.
A business partner sounds like a fabulous idea. I wish I had one, I could probably do my side job full time.
