An ADD Rat Pack | ADHD Information
Alright! It is pretty cool.
Absolutely. And we were, of course, of the opinion that "great
minds" -- meaning 'ours' -- "think alike;" that the modern
factory that is public education existed solely to crank out good
little drones for repetitive office/factory jobs; and that we were "too
cool for school." Many of those did extremely well during the
tech boom but overall we still seem to be misfits.
After being rejected by peers, my only friends in school were generally
other rejected ADDers or other rejected kids. But we did become real
friends and we had fun together and stood up for each other.
It was a good experience to be friends with people who didn't have much
in common with you besides your disorder. You learn how to get along
with all different people and you learn more about people in general.
