I hate windchimes!! | ADHD Information
My husband just called and told me he was looking at windchimes to hang out in the back yard. NOOOOOOO!!!I think they are horrible and should be outlawed! Nonstop random 'bonging' every single time I open the window or go outdoors and it never goes away. Just bong bong bongity bong all day and night long!
There's a house in the neighborhood that I hate walking by bc they have them hanging outside. I literally cannot tune the things out!
My hubby kindly reconsidered after I freaked out on the phone, by the way.
LOL! I feel the same way. I used to think I liked them, so I bought one once. Then I realized how horribly ANNOYING they are! Ding... ding... dingly ding ding.....
Some people find them soothing. I find them sooo distracting!
I like them but I'm sure once I hung them in my own yard or heard them all the time in my neighbors yerd I would get sick of them too.I know which ones Eburns is talking about. They always end up sounding like fine music playing rather than some annoying tinkling calliope.The only windchimes I owned were kept indoors with no blowing air. Or they would be decorative and didn't make any noise. My mother had one and I would be constantly looking around to see what the noise was. Windchimes would definitely be annoying. It's funny how things like that work. Simply being at Fuddruckers with all its sights and sounds was driving me crazy the other night.
LOL. I also hate windchimes and anything that is constantly making noise!! My ears are hypersensitive so noises really bug me!! some noises like windchimes are worse than others lol. People screaming, dishes banging together, and just high pitched noises are the worst on my ears. grrr lol. I would also have a hard time not freaking out if my fiance was looking at getting some!!

Cheap, tinie sounding chimes I hate.
But there are those with a deep, soft, resonant 'bong' that I love....
However, they cost a small fortune. ;)
