Um, this is so annoying...
Look...I did my taxes the day I got my forms from my job. Why? because I never have any money. Plus I would forget them so I did them right away.
Perhaps running late on filing taxes is not so much of a problem for us ad/hders as it would seem....
most of us are dead broke.
income taxes mean cash, moola, ching ching, $$$$$$$$.....
most of us, out of sheer desperation for cash, rush to file for our income taxes as soon as the wonderful feel of the paper of the w-2 form lands in our hands...
the acception to this would probably be those ad/hders who know they owe money....they are probably the ones that usually wait until the last minute....or either PAST the last minute...
No, I havent filed yet, I will probably file on Friday night and scramble to look for everything, rush to the post office at 11:40. We do it every year. One year, my boyfirend (now husband) and I were in so much traffic just at the post office on April 15th that I had to jump out of the car and run to put it into the mail minutes before 12. EXCITING! We went home and and well, we didnt go to sleep.
