I didn't know that... and oh god I didn't wan't to know that...

The procedure is easy for me.

Step #1 - forget to buy new razors for a month

Step #2 - wear long pants
You know... the Vikings actually werent beaten out of England... so, that might be why you englishmen are so tough

they had a very big, big Hells Angels man try the waxing thing, and he scream out loud, that he'd rather be beaten with a leadpipe hehe...
Pah!  An Englishman wouldn't scream.  We English're so tough we can wear Harris Tweed trousers without underpants!

Mark -

You know, it's much faster to wax'em off... all you have to do, is pull really hard, and scream...

Ya great pansy!  I thought you Danes were tough...

That's fun hehe, I remember a show, were they tried different products to remove hair from the legs, and they had a very big, big Hells Angels man try the waxing thing, and he scream out loud, that he'd rather be beaten with a leadpipe hehe...

First off, I like the way my legs feel when they're smooth. The only problem is that shaving is so boring and tedious.

My first leg usually comes out well. Usually it's the right one just from habit. I make sure that wherever there was cream is skincolor.

But by the time I get to the second, the goal is not to make it nice anymore. It's to get out of the shower. Patches are neglected. I get out of the shower with one silky smooth leg, the other like  a picture of crop rotation from an Environmental textbook I was looking at- where trees are cut in some areas but not all, and the trees that get cut alternate- so the next time I shower, the little hairs that were left are ripe for cutting and the ones that were shaved will grow til the next shower....

Sorry for getting so personal.
I wanna get that lazer thing

One of my friends shaves her legs every 3 days religiously in the summer. I'm lucky if I shave mine every 3 months!

Try Veet - you slather it on, walk around bow-legged for 15 minutes, and then you rinse it off. No cuts, no waxing, and it's a lot less work. And you don't miss any patches!
You fooled me with the post you made about brewing beer. Wow, a woman who wants to brew her own beer! That is is sooo ADD. lol. I wanna try that too now. I bet I could make some good beer.
How bout alternating legs- one on Monday, the other on Tuesday, etc.

Or, I know- electrolysis! You'd never have to shave them again! Unfortunately electrolysis on the legs would cost hundreds of dollars because it is such a large area!

Oh, bummer. I'll bet that laser therapy thing would be pretty pricey too, then. I tried the super-strength Neet once cuz my hair doesn't wanna come off. Only it not only took hair, it took skin too. It started bleeding throguh my pores.
I tried the super-strength Neet once cuz my hair doesn't wanna come off. Only it not only took hair, it took skin too. Hmmm... I tried the Veet (not Neet) for sensitive skin. It was awesome.
I guess I have European blood in me veins ....I stopped shaving years ago! And the hair actually stopped growing. I like the feel of the wind through what hair I have when walking. Any of you men notice that or have you gotten used to it?

Also, remember I'm a gypsy!

Perhaps surprisingly, I don't make a habit of walking around with no strides on when it's windy.

was I the only one who "got" that little exchange and thought that it was EXTREMELY FUNNY?

don't worry, floofthegoof, I have made the same mistake in here plenty of times...

<ssiiighhhh....>   i wish I could still reach or even see my legs.....
<ssiiighhhh....>   i wish I could still reach or even see my legs.....
Soon, my friend, soon. ueww.....come to think of it, as long as its been, maybe I don't WANT to see them....i might scare myself!buccaneer...You can relate, then, to Mel Gibson in What Women Want. Do you think he really used that hair wax/stripper thing? I do! You're quite the trooper, Buc!

I hate shaving my legs too!! My mom does hers almost every night but she is a bath kind of girl instead of a shower person. I found that the new Chic Intuition is the best thing if you are shower shaver. It saves time whe you don't have to lather your legs with anything. I tried the Veet moose stuff too and it was ok but I like the feel of shaven legs. I don't get as smooth with Veet.

i hate having to shave my legs. Whenever I do, I'm always in a rush to get it over with and cut myself at least once if not more! ugh!! lol

-Princess-

In my previous life I used to be a professional cyclist.  Would forget to shave (hurts like hell when you get a hard massage with lotsa hair!).  Found a wonderful girlfriend who would wax and rip.  Was painful (ankles and behind the knees is the worst!) but as I only had to do this once every couple of months it was much less anguish than having to remember to shave...bleeding from cuts...cleaning the tub out afterwards...etc etc.
LMBO ::looks down at little hairy patch on knee, shrugs:: I just let people assume I'm a hippy. Shaving legs is tedious, but one thing I HAVE to do, plucking the brows, its the super attentive part of me. I even want to pluck other people.....

ROFLMHO!  Oh, you have no idea how much I relate to this!!  And to wanting to removing lint on others, too.  When I see it on someone, it distracts me to the point where I need to use all the restraint I can muster *not* to reach over to remove it.  I could go on and on....

Friends and loved ones are not so lucky...
i thought it was pretty funny that so many guys were interested in the leg shaving topic.
Well, it started out (I thought) as an all guy conversation. I was thinking, "now this is kindof odd, but hey, to each his own."
I thought the first post was from a lady.

I know a woman who inherited some money recently. She spent most of it on buying an apartment and the rest on hours and hours of electrolysis. She was very hairy Egyptian girl. not anymore!

Lucky my hair is sparse and light to begin with....

Nah...I make my own wind when I'm walking. I don't have hair on my legs so I save some money from not buying shaving products. That's a good thing because AD/HD folks never have money.
Harris Tweed is a coarse wool cloth woven in the Outer Hebrides islands, and it's extremely itchy.
