Adderall & Buspar | ADHD Information

I have been taking Adderall for several weeks. My I am back on track with projects, my kids and greast focus.  However my anxiety level rose out of control so my Dr gave me Buspar (Buspirone).

Does any one have any info on these two together?

The research I've read about buspar is that it will kick in after 3-4 weeks.....

I get anxiety attacks every other week and I freak out on my wife thinking she is having an affair.  I know it is not true but nevertheless.  I feel weird behind my eyes like all I think about is catching here doing something.  I I also get tightness in my chest.

She is now coaching me while I am taking Buspar.
I also have some OCD traits as well....  Isn't that lovley!

Anyways, like I said, my add is working great with the adderall and I am wishful that the buspar kicks in soon.

Does Buspar even work?? I'm taking Buspirone(twice a day, half a pill at 7.5mgs), the generic of buspar with my concerta(54mgs) and it isn't helping me any. I still feel anxious at times. Maybe I've gotten a little better but don't realize it. I just wish i wouldn't feel anxious at all! it is the worst feeling! What is the best anxiety medication? any suggestions for if i were to switch to another medication what I should try? is Zoloft good? My doc was hesitant to give me Adderall due to my anxiety levels being so high, he said I was one of the most anxious patients he has ever had - before putting me on Adderall.  After holding off on any meds for my ADD for several months after I was officially diagnosed with tests and all, he finally put me on Adderall. 

Getting stuff done did help my anxiety levels, but my anxiety was still an issue.

After several months on antianxiety meds, he put me on Risperdal.  It seems to help, but I am at times not good about taking it because I have "issues" with it.  My "issue" being the fact it is also prescribed for schizophrenia (at much higher levels - I only take .25 - .75 mg a day). 

I need to "get over" my problem with taking Risperdal.   I also take Zoloft.
