If they are too long, I can't keep the focus. I do skim them and try to pick out the important words or phrases, but then towards the end of it I am usually drifting off thinking of dinner or grocery shopping and then I am lost forever.
It's not that I don't care what other people write, I just can't focus that long!!
Sometimes when they are too long I just skim it. When it sounds like someone is in need however I read it more closely, once a case manager always a case manager, it makes me happy to help another. I attribute my nature to my parents who loved and accepted all. My father also survived Aushwitcz so I was brought up to enjoy each day.The way I see it, anyone on this board can write to their heart's content....that's what the board is here for. Whether anyone wants to read a post or not, is an individual's choice. I always make an effort to read the long posts because I like to hear what other people have to say. I do not have a 100% success rate however. Sometimes I can read the whole post. Other times I can't make it past the first paragraph. But I do try. Maybe "Keep it short" should be an informal guideline?
