Long posts | ADHD Information

I honestly can't understand how people can sit still for that long. My posts are short because I can't stay with the same thought for long. I guess it's time to look at different medications

lol I'm guilty of making long posts in like one paragraph. I need to divide my paragraphs up but am too lazy a lot of times.

I am going to start practicing right now :). Anyway, i usually can not get through a long post because i just lose concentration and just start skimming it over unless i find it really interesting. I wish I was able to read long posts because I always enjoy what everyone has to say on here!!

I never read long posts but I am prone to writing them.  .

i know i'm guilty of a long post or two. but i tend to read all the posts for topics i read.

they are usually hard to read if the paragraphs are too long. almost always that big block of text makes my brain groan. it's like adding sugar to your coffee one crystal at a time.

LOL I agree I usually skip over the long posts. Sometimes I have very focused days and can read them but usually there is no way I will be able to finish. I'll try to skim them sometimes or read the first paragraph but after that you lose me. And yeah if your a long poster thats fine. I'd be the last person to tell someone what to post. Am have written a few longer messages myself.

Usually what I find is the long posts wind up being repetetive and we tend to over clarify things the longer we write. Don't know if this is an ADD thing but we seem to be to the point in short posts and needlessly long winded in the long.  I've been long posting too even though I know lots won't read it all. Well, it seems to me we've done just that, in this thread, the other poll () and the topic "Inormal Guidelines."

Well said, Old Chapette.
I usually don't read them unless they are VERY compelling. Wondered avbout everyone else. I made a mistake in the llast poll by making it "allow multiple votes." a golden moment. or goldenmoment.

I usually read long posts: (1) if it's something of interest to me; (2) if there are occasional breaks in the typing (paragraphs)... otherwise it makes it difficult to focus on and hard to keep my place in reading, especially if it's in tiny font.
