Hi,
I was wondering if anyone ever decided to go back to ritalin after adderall. Ritalin seems to be more effective for me. I've been reading about how many people benefit from adderall over ritalin. Is there a reason why ritalin seems to work for me as opposed to adderall xr? If you switched back to ritalin(or adderall) could you tell me why you made the switch to either one? Thanks.
Thanks guys for the replies, i've been so busy. Anyways, back on ritalin, and feeling "normal" and "focused." While taking adderall, I felt fuzzy headed or something, i can't explain it.
Okay, so this is my first morning on the Concerta. My doc prescribed 36mg to start. So far, I think I like it. I'll reserve final judgement for a few weeks, but this is much different from the Adderall. I don't feel like i had 75 cups of coffee this morning. I just feel like I can focus. More to come as my day rolls on......I'm going to the doctor today. I want to try the Concerta. I have been taking adderall since day one and then the xr when I found out about that. With the adderall, I feel tired all of the time. I figured it was a result of me taking too much. (I never took more than my doctor prescribed) I have seen my doctor more frequently lately in trying to find the optimal dosage and I still just feel tired. I went from 30mg XR to 20mg XR down to 10mg XR and I still can hardly get out of bed in the AM and just feel tired when I take my meds in the morning. My doc's last suggestion was trying a Ritalin-based rug if the lower Adderall dosage didn't help. I'm tired of feeling tired all of the time so we'll see how this goes. The part that irritates me is that my initial dosages of Adderall made me feel like ,000,000 and I could focus and do everything I wanted/needed to do. It has gotten frustrating lately. I'll stop rambling now.I switched back to Ritalin for 2 reasons:
