I would love to hear the outcome of your trial period.  Also, is there anything similiar to this that does not contain Iodine as I am allergic to it in certain amounts.

Day 2 - Wednesday April 20th

My mind is still clear. A tad less impulsive & less daydreaming. Haven't needed any caffeine.

One thing strikes me, Lack of Caffeine Crave, Nice One!
I waiting with you to see if it seems to make a difference for you. I'd like to know myself.Reizende,
I am very interested in learning of your experience with Clarocet AE. Have been
interested in different non-meds alternatives over the years. Reason, well we all
have subtle differences in our make up the more alternatives we have the better.
To date unfortunately the alternatives have not been generally effective but there
is always a First.
Good Luck with your Self-Trial and thank you for sharing with us about it.

It's supposed to take up to a month to work, but I am going to post my progress as I go.

Day 1 - Tuesday April 19th

My mind is clearer, yet I am still tired from lack of sleep. I am still being impulsive, still daydreaming & lack of attention span. Great physical energy, had a nice brisk walk. My overall mood is very good.

My first bottle of Clarocet has arrived and I am giving it a test drive. I have never been treated (nor tested for ADD), so this will be my first attempt at relief. I do have a bit of the edge taken off my symptoms by using regular 1 a day vitamins if they contain ginko, st john's wort & ginseng.

It is called Clarocet AE & there are 60 pills of an all herbal & vitamin formula. They are to be taken 1 per day, with a maximum useage of 4 a day. I am not awake that many hours in a day, so 1-2 max is fine for me.

Here is the ingredient breakdown:

Valerian, St John's Wort, Bacopa, Kava Root, Choline (something I hear people with ADD have difficulties producing), American Ginseng, 5-Hydroxytrytophan, Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid, Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamin C, Acetyl-L-Cartitine, Vitamins B3, B5, B6, B1, B9, B12, Vitamin H, Biotin, Manganese, Potassium, & Kelp.

Kelp I know helps aid those with Hypothyroidism because it has Iodine. Hypothyroidism produces ADD symptoms as well, however I ruled this out after examining my life as a whole over the years.

It's been a couple weeks and they are working. Not a miracle cure, by any means, but the Clarocet is definately taking my hyperactivity away. It's keeping me alert without caffeine which is causing caffeine withdrawal. That's the only downside. I can concentrate better, but its not making me stop daydream. I can physically control daydreaming much better, though. I would say this is an excellent product for me. I will be buying it again.Wow, I might have to try that.

Day 3 - Thursday April 21st

Caffeine withdrawal set in & complete relapse. Extreme stress at work complicating matters today. Tired, groggy, unclear head, impulsive, overly noisy, aggitated & unable to sit still.

Balls on ya, boy!!! Go     for       it ....        you         can        do        it....

Sorry ......having a Adam Sandler moment

seriously...keep it up, hang in there unless its a bad trip....Can you check your heart rate and blood pressure periodically? I'm looking for alternatives that'll give the ticker a bit of a rest.

It is Only Day 3. There has to be period of adjustment. Are any of the above
mentioned signs worse than before.

Gotta take for a whoooooooooole month.

Hey Reizende,
Just wanted to know....is the clarocet still working for you? Is it the only medication you're taking?

Thanks for the previous postings!
It stopped working after 1 month. I guess I just adjusted to it.Wow I sure hate to hear that. I was thinking about ordering some!!Reizende,
Thank you for keeping us informed on your trial of "Clarocet". As a person who
works for a support group i need to keep up to date on all options for management
Sorry it did'nt work out for you. The main thing is, You Tried. You monitored the
situation and provided data on your experiences with this Product.
So your search goes on!
As each of us is subtly different in our chemical make up it is interesting to find
that the ADHD Profile is so influenced by our individual make up.
There is an answer in each case but as you have just discovered, the process of
finding the answer can present it's own challange.
Thank You, again for sharing your results.

I stopped taking it awhile to see if it starts working again.
