First Day of College with Adderall!! | ADHD Information

I'm in college and on adderall too.  I actually just had my first day of classes without it yesterday because there was a mix-up with my perscription at my dr's office.  It was horrible.  I noticed that I was more able to concentrate in class and on homework and stuff too, unless there was someone chewing gum loudly or tapping a pen or something.  my focus was improved so much that i just focus on that and get more and more annoyed.  I hope that's not the case with you and that school gets easier for you with meidcation.  good luck!

Hey Guys

I have been lurking around the boards for a while and i find this adult section to be by far the most relevent to me, anyways i had my first day at college with Adderall and man what a difference.  usually i just stare at the wall for about 80% of the class time and then daydream for the rest.  But today i was really able to listen.

I have a question for all of you that are on meds, do you find that you stop daydreaming and spacing out all together or that you are just able to catch yourself doing it? and lastly those on meds do you still loose stuff and misplace things a lot.  I found that meds havent really helped with this.  Alright guys thanks in advance

David

P.S Any men feel sexual side effects from adderall, it seems to have brought my sex drive up.  Any input on this would be appreciated

Good luck with school David! It took me 9 years to get my college degree, but I worked extra hard and graduated with honors. But yes, I would daydream most of the class and them make up for it at home learning (mostly memorizing) on my own.
