Huh?
GYPSY, WE'RE IN THE DARK TOGETHER,
KWIM?

Right now I have a huge project to complete, and I'm reading the same
posts over and over again, thinking *maybe some new post will turn up.
Right now the board is like alcohol and I am an addict.
THIS IS NOT EVEN A QUEST FOR SUPPORT FOR ME NOW! IT IS A QUEST FOR DIVERSION!

Heck, I'll post. I have some time to blow off.
I don't know if this board helps me with my ADHD and I'm sort of new here, but it does help me relax so much and feel a great deal better knowing so many of us can relate to things that normal people think we're weird, stupid, lazy, or crazy for doing. Instead of feeling lame or like we might have a need to hide our quarks of how we get things done, instead now I'm feeling even more proud. It's liberating to me.
I'v gotten so much done already that I'm allowing my brain to relax and not have it working triple time, and for some reason, I feel more forgetful when I do that, because I'm more at ease maybe.
YES, and it makes me feel better about myself- not alone
YES, however it does distracts me from things I ought be doing instead....but who cares?
YES, and I like the companionship, especially with others with whom I can relate.
YES. Reading these boards help me improve myself, like try to be less judgmental.
So I elaborated by just changing your "no" responses to yes. I thought it may be more 'positive' thinking for me that the choices are "Yes, and...." KWIM, Kid?
What does KWIM mean?
For me, it is sometimes a distraction/addiction that comes and goes. On
the other hand, I really do like to know there are people out there who
understand. Does it help me with my ADD? No. Does it help me get
through the day? A little.

It can be a distraction but a helpful one. I've picked up a few new ideas for dealing with my ADHD, it gives me some incentive to keep trying knowing that others are struggling as well, and I do get a feeling of e-companionship off this board.
Oh hell, I suppose I should get back to work. On the other hand, there are other topics to look at...
Q: How many kids with ADHD does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: Let's go ride bike! & nbsp;
