Just trying to figure something out | ADHD Information

Here's a place where your husband can get a pretty good clue.  My wife is studying for her psychology degree and uses this site as a reference quite often.

Just go to quizzes and it's the first test offered.

If he reads, maybe have him read Driven To  Distraction....says you think it might help your son.  If he is ADD/ADHD the book may turn a mental key.

Over the past couple of weeks I have placed several post in regard to my step son but starting to have suspisions that my husband is ADHD.

He listens to me when I talk to him but nothing ever seems to register. We can have the same discussions several times a month but nothing ever changes. He does what he wants when he wants and how he wants, within reason. He is funny and very good company. He does drink too much but never violent. He has no concept of money. He is very jumpy when sleeping. Was in trouble a lot as kid/young adult.

These are just a few of the things that have aroused my suspcions.  Over the years I think he has learnt some self control but at times he can be very frustrating.  The more I try to talk to him about something the more he does it to annoy me.

I love him very much and married him this way but just thought if I find out why he is like this I may be able understand him a little better.

Well, he does sound a bit like me - especially the money part...
