Shock,

I am unable to take any of the traditional stimulants because thy ahve caused me problems.  My doctor and therapist have both suggested omega 3 fatty acids, you can get them from walmart. I will begin taking siberian ginseng and b-12 this week for my memory. I do not have hyperactivity either, but I notice when I use artificial sweetener, I get a headache and my mind gets all foggy.  I also TRY to stay away from carbs  because they make me feel sluggish.  Here are some websites that if found.  when you do a search type in brain food and add, or some type of combination of brain nutrients and add.

I have heard that there are certain foods to eat and avoid if you have Adult ADD. What are they? Also, what about amino acids for adults? All I read about is info for children. What if I don't have hyperactivity? Will these foods and aminos help the ADD?
