cleaning products | ADHD Information
Get ones from health stores, Melaleuca, Watkins, Halleulla diet, just to name a few. These are non toxic cleaners. I bet also can find on the net ways to make ones yourself. Cleaning products? What on earth are those?
Yes, Mercury/ lead yes to. chemicals effects the Brain. We are now gardening and Daniel loves it. He also gets credit for it in scouts.Target has pretty lavender smelling natural products...pretty inexpensive too. Sometimes the bathtub just really needs a good bleaching though....eew. Just reminded of that because I went crazy the other night and cleaned all my bathroom tile with a toothbrush. Good way to burn energy....not to mention it was disgusting of epic proportions...I mean the tile shower spray only does so much...
Whew, I thought it was some sort of "colon blow" product.
LOL!!! Whew, I thought it was some sort of "colon blow" product.
Dang, you gave the shower the toothbrush treatment - WOW! Come on over and take care of mine!!

Yeah, really!!! When that black mold icky crap starts showing up, I simply put bleach into a spritzer bottle, spray the whole area then come back later and it's gone (can kind of make they eyes burn a little...) but to take a toothbrush and get in there....YOU ARE TRULY WORTHY OF SOME SORT OF HUGE AWARD CEREMONY IN MY BOOK!!
LOL, am I the only ADD'er who goes a little "crazy" sometimes and just does something with vigor? Like...I can perfectly ignore a mess for awhile...then all the sudden I am filled with the urge to get rid of it. Thats what happened with the black shower gu. But this last one hit me at like 12:30am.
I am unable to just 'straighten' a closet either. I have to rip it apart and completely reorganize it...oh, it may take me longer because I do other stuff in between, but it gets done.
Maybe I am the only tidy person on the board. Ex. I really do make efforts to put things where I deem them belonging...but then nearly 100% of the time I used to forget where that was...crazy meds are helping that though. Woot!
Last closet binge, I TOTALLY found a pair of diamond earrings and a ring I had been given (sentimental, not valueable) that had been missing for nearly a year!

OMG, I thought i was really out it! Pheww. Well your thoughts Goldenmoment may
really have some some possibilities. Curious! Not many folks have questioned the
chemicals in the home and the effect they could have on ADHDers.
Nice One!!!

LOL!!! LOL!!!
I do like the concept behind Melaluca products.
...um, I may be dense, or just out of it, and not "getting it" today...
what does this have to do with ad/dh?
if there really is a connection, please enlighten me...
I think Racheal was thinking about a connection between chemicals and that they can contribute to ADHD one way or the other or using environmentally friendly products because I have also thought about many chemicals/ingrediants contributing to moods or behaviors.
I also have wondered often if a lot of mercury or lead has contributed to ADHD effects or effected the birth mother while pregnant. I studied a lot of that and the helf effects in science...but having a wonderful teacher helped me actually care about learning that.
This is what I thought the person was getting at and why the posting of it.goldenmoment38469.9029513889oh, ok...
