Bad day | ADHD Information
I live in Erie county too! I'm sorry your licence plates were stolen, that sucks that you have to wait in line all day because Erie county government screwed up. I don't know about you, but I'm getting sick of hearing about it. I haven't really had to deal with it though and my family's moving to PA this summer so hopefully I won't have to deal with it.
Good luck at the DMV. I agree with Sonya- take a folding chair so you can sit and read or something. I bet you could even make a few bucks if you charge people to sit in it.
Man that sucks!
Bring with you the following:
a cd walkman (don't forget the batteries and the cds!)
plenty of your reading pleasures...(be they magazines, comic books, steamy romance novels, etc)
you into video games? do you have a game boy or something? bring that..
bring a cooler of good food and drink...(don't want you to have an attack!)
and possibly a comfortable fold up chair!!
Make a picnic out of the day...at least you might get out of a day of work!!

I went to the police station to file a report and now have to go to the Department of motor vehicles and wait for new plates. Mind you I live in Erie County, the place that shut most of them down due to county budget cuts and debts. My supervisor went there for the same thing last month and got there at 9:00 am and was there until 4 pm. The whole day of standing in a crowded line
Because of some jerk. This will be interesting because I am a diabetic. I wonder if I fake a reaction would they take me sooner? Doubt it.
Oh about the bad neighborhood someone was shot outside my job 3 weeks ago.
The only positive from this is that I now have an excuse to go to the "bone yard"!!!!!
Going by prior experiences, I'd better pack a lunch. I love boneyards, probably a little too much. This for me is like the mall is for many women. (ok and maybe some men too)
That sounds like a huge drag! I am soooooo impatient with waiting in lines! I don't pick fights or anything.. but I just despise standing still for that long. LOL... I am the person who goes out with my husband for a "dinner date" at 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon so I can sit fast, get my food fast, and leave fast...
BTW, the last poster mentioned getting to go to the "bone yards". Someone help me out here.. what is that?
At least it's a good excuse to get out of work.

Thank you all and the nightmare lasted both my husband and I 3 1/2 hours and costed me .00. And to add to it the Asshole's who stole the plate broke the whole thing off in the process took the screws with it so now my husband has to go to the junk yard to put the front one back on. Now it is hanging on my dash board.
