Switching from Strattera to another med.. | ADHD Information

I did. I chose to start on non-stims though. But although it had some good effects, just wasn't what I needed.Hey shock did you ever do the before bed thing? It appears to be working for me...I did get bumped up to 60mg too.Not yet, I just started the 40mgs today and I thought about taking the pill tonight instead of this morning but my psych said that I should take it in the morning. I just don't like the "duh" feeling I get on Strattera. I need pep. I just don't think my Strattera is working...I want it to but I don't really feel like it is. Just wondering who else out there has started on Strattera only to switch to another med? I don't like feeling tired all the time. I was put on Strattera because my Psychiatrist thought I was bi-polar also. She didn't want me on a stimulant because I might freak or something. I KNOW I'm not bi-polar, I know why I got depressed in the past and now I know what to do to overcome it and I haven't been depressed since the day I found out I might have Adult ADD. I have a friend who suggested Aderrall, I'm going to ask if I can switch to  that. This is just one of the side effects of this medacine.
