Hm. Interesting. I want to think about a reply tough, opened up this reply window and went into thought so................................................. ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ....................

Well, keep things around him organized.  As far as the decisions and tasks go, I have the feeling that he is being overwhelmed, which is terrible for someone with our disorder. So one decision at a time.  Normally, ADHDers like multitasking, we work best in situations that allow us to drift from one task to another.  The trouble is finishing them.  Deadlines and structure help this.  I always work better under pressure but some people don't.  So break down whatever is overwhelming your friend into smaller doable chunks and take them one at a time.  That might be one cure to this problem.

And tell him to come to this board.  All are welcome.

Hi, I am new here, I do not suffer from ADD myself, but have worked with a small business owned by a dear friend. The business is not doing well due to a variety of reasons, his ADD  is causing lots of stress, not just for him, but everyone else involved.  With the increase of stress he seems to be getting more incapable of coping and making decisions. My question, is there anything we can do to help, to make it easier for him to make those decisions and do what needs to be done for the company to survive. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
