Thanks so much for the info. The worst part about the accident was that I lost my best friend of 16 years and in July it will be 5 years.
I am on disabillity because of all the pain I am in, and my foot is fused so I have no range of motion plussallot of other issues with my leg. So tomorrow I have to go to a government appointed doctor tomorrow.
The government is trying to get out of paying me I believe because of my "mental issues". Because I have add, I have to get a mental exam! Boy does that p--- me off! My dissability has nothing to do with my add!
I was in a fatal car accident about five years ago and still am in allot of pain, (almost lost my foot). I was on vicoden and a whole list of other pain meds. Anyway, most made me really hyper. Is that strange? Most folks take a pain killer and they are out!
Mostly it was the vicoden, it made me more alert. I was on oxycontin, methadone and you name it. I didn't like the way they made me feel, so I stopped taking them all and take neurontin.
Laura, not at all strange. We're AD/HD, so stimulants and pain killers work the opposite on us. I also get hyper on pain killers, even at times when they are suppose to keep me in bed to heal. Fat chance.
