Hello! I’m new here. I have not been officially dx’ed with ADD, I got a bipolar dx. I never agreed with it. I got it because of my rapid speech. Anyway, I was on their mood stabilizer, Trilptal, and also Celexa. They even tried to get me on Geodon—an antipsychotic (none of their bp meds did anything good). All the while I wanted tx for ADD with traditional ADD meds. Because I am much more ADD than bp, I protested for two months and I finally got Strattera, 80mg per day. I’ve been on it now for, this is the fourth day.
