Sorry Ive been AWOL | ADHD Information
I've decided to
name him Bailey (like the liqueur - LOL!). He's such a little cutie!
Today is the first day he has started eating out of a bowl (I was
having to feed him mush and water through a syringe), so tomorrow he
should be okay to stay home on his own - in his "safe" box in his own
room of course, way from my other cat until she gets used to him.
Now I have the task of kitten-proofing my apartment - no small job! Ugh!
My daughter loves cats if only she were not allergic to them. You are lucky you are able to take a pet to work, I cannot take an animal nor child on take your child to work day. confidentiality law for me why and no animals allowed in the building.Yeah, like the Bush Bean's dog telling the secret ingredients in the beans!Well, one of the
owners actually used to bring his golden lab in every Friday, until a
couple of years ago. She's getting really old now, and a day at work
has become a little too much excitement for her. He brings her in about
once every 6 months or so now. A couple of people have brought their
own pets in from time to time too. The owners are cheap SOB's, but at
least they are very lenient with those sorts of things.
Confidentially issues - LOL! Imagine your pet spilling the beans on the sensitive info you work with.
Good for you getting a new kitty. We just moved, and shortly after our oldest cat ran away. It has been a month and no sign of her. She was the big mama of the two. The funny thing is that the younger one seems pleased to big the queen bee around here now. No love lost apparently. Oh well. That's awful! I hope
she comes back. One of my favourite cats ran away when I was 12 - I was
devastated. I never let any of my cats outdoors again. Even my older
cat used to be an outdoor kitty with her previous owners for over 6
years, and she has fared just fine this past year and a half as an
indoor kitty with me! LOL.
Awwwww... so what's kitty's name?
Kittens are so cute!In case anybody was wondering about me.
One of my co-workers found a
litter of kittens in our yard at work on Monday morning. There were
three of them, and I managed to catch one myself. I've decided to keep
him, as long as my other cat doesn't use him as a punching bag. LOL!
Since he's so little (only
about 5 weeks, no more than 6, according to my vet), I decided to take
him to work with me everyday so far this week.
Monday was my first day on
Dexedrine in 10mg Spansules - but I think, so far, this week has been a
write-off for seeing results, since I'm so darn distracted by that
little kitty! LOL.
LOL - Tasha still hates him, but at least she doesn't go after him. She only hisses now if he comes after her!
Yup - that's my beautiful girl!

Are Tasha and Bailey best of friends yet?
BTW, everyone...my avatar is actually the real Tasha, bcgirl's kitty. Isn't she beautiful?!
