Can anyone help me out??
I am a full-time student graduating in one year. I am concerned that when I turn 24 (in 6 months) that I will not be able to afford health insurance.
Presently I need to see my doctor every month for my Adderall. Is there any way, legal preferably, to maintain my prescription without insurance or prescription drug benefits? Does anyone know about online pharmacies or natural remedies?
Any advice is extremely appreciated!!!
I'm the same age & on a controlled substance. Most colleges offer "temporary" insurance for new grads to hold them through until they get a job with proper benefits. If your college does not, ask the counselors to refer you to another health insurance program that does. All colleges will help out. DONT let your coverage lapse and get a job with good benefits right away.
It seems odd to me that you have coverage NOW but you say you won't when you turn 24? I don't understand that. But there is no other way to legally obtain genuine prescriptions of a controlled substance than to see a doctor. And without health insurance, that will cost a TON. I seriously would not reccommend going to Mexico or anything because they'd probably give your Rufies or something horrible instead!!
