Im new to this board. I have been taking lexapro since Oct of 2004. In the begining stages of taking lexapro my doctor put me on 20 mgs, my depression lifted but I felt aggitated and restless. I also was getting acne (which I never get), so my doctor lowered my lexapro to 10 mgs. Then my hair started to fall out, by this time I was angry with the meds and wanted to stop taking them, but my doctor told me to just lower it to 5 mgs. My hair stopped falling out, and the acne cleared. I still get pimples occasionally..not sure if its the meds . Now that its summer Im at the beach a lot and I noticed that I get these itchy bumps on my chest, I know its from the lexapro cause I never get sun sensitivity.
