Urgent: I Need a U.S. Doctor | ADHD Information

Share

Maybe we could arrange a trade.  You could see my doctor here and I could see yours in Michigan.  As you may know, Concerta is covered here with most drug plans - it costs me very little.  Do you have a good relationship with your doctor in Michigan?  Mine is great and would likely see you as a patient to prescribe.

I only have about 3 days left of my Adderall so I would be willing to go to Michigan at any time!

I went through the opposite problem. I did a lot of searching for Concerta. I pay around 0.00 per month for my sons meds per month and tried to find someone to help me get in Canada. I know someone who lives in Windsor and they couldn't help me. I live in Michigan and would drive to get it.

I just wanted to let you know that your not alone.

I never thought I would get to this point but I am desperate and need a U.S. Doctor who will see me as a patient and write a prescription for Adderall XR.  I know I sound like a drug addict but this is legit and I hope someone on these boards can help me.

I am in Canada, where Adderall was taken off the market in February.  I have tried every other available drug but only Adderall works for me.  Luckily, I had a little supply of Adderall so I started to take it again but I now have only 20 days of Adderall left!

I hope that someone on this site understands how much the right medication can affect your life and will talk to their doctor on my behalf since I desperately need to find a doctor in the U.S. who will prescribe for me.  My doctor in Canada will provide all background information and I will travel to the U.S. to visit the doctor and pay any necessary fees.  I am located in Toronto so the closer to home the better.

Thanks in advance for helping me.

It would be difficult becasue you need a U.S. social security number.  Why do I need a social insurance number? I will pay for the visit - not looking for insurance to cover the costs.

It has been reported that it has severe adverse affects on the heart, i.e. death.  However, all of the reported cases of this were in people that had undiagnosed conditions. It is a stimulant after all. I have a few heart conditions, and would NEVER take this.

My step-daughter is on it, but I am not too worried about it yet. I would need to see more info before I really fear it. In the meantime, her doctor is keeping a closer eye on her for any flags.

I would love to try and work something out. I have a very good relationship with my Dr. and he is very understanding of us not having insurance.  I did not even realize you could even get Concerta in Canada, everyone that I talk to makes it sound like it is not even available there. Let me do some checking on things today and i'll leave you a post.

I'm very new to this board so if you know of a way to exchange email addresses without posting them just let me know.

I am going to see my doctor now.  I will send you a private message later today.Sounds good. Moonbeam38506.2675578704Why is Adderall now banned in Canada?!?how much are the rates to see a doctor for the first time, when you have no insurance?
