Provigil and Strattera | ADHD Information

Share
I have never taken Straterra but my daughter has.  I really couldn't tell that it was doing anything, but she was very manic at the time (she is also bipolar).  I take Provigil for a sleep disorder although I have always had some mild ADHD symptoms.  It is my wonder drug!  Not only does it keep me from falling asleep at inappropriate times, but I also have much more focus without feeling like I'm "speeding".  The major drawback of the Provigil is the cost if you have no insurance.  I have heard it runs about 0 for a 30 day supply.  Fortunately, I only pay a co-pay.Yes, atworkbutsleepi, I understand.  Have you known anyone to take BOTH Straterra and Provigil at the same time?

I've had a history of majore depression.  The last time I saw my psychopharmacologist I spoke to him also of my disorganization, both at work and at home.  He spoke to me about Provigil and Strattera, but he wants to wait until next time to prescribe anything.

My major depressive symptoms include a constanct fatigue and I've read that Strattera causes lethargy in some people.  Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Thank you.
