| ADD Questions from New Member | |||

Hi all, this is my first time in this forum, so I am a bit nervous, but also really relieved. It seems like I am isolated at times because I can't always share my thoughts and feelings with others, and no one really understands completely. I am a special education teacher, have been for 7 years now, who just received her Master's degree. I was diagnosed with ADD and anxiety disorder when I was 24 or 25, I am now 30. I was writing to ask about the ADD coaching, what exactly is it and how do I find one? I am having major struggles with time management and punctuality and I am at a point that it will really hurt me if the problem continues. I have difficulty waking up in time at times, but since taking Adderall that has improved some, but I can't seem to be organized enough or move quickly enough to get to work in enough time. I always forget something, or take too long to do something, and make it in after I should be. I make it in enough time to get my students, but not to get there at the same time the other staff does. This is soo frustrating for me, and I don't know what else I can do about it. It is costing me financially, and emotionally, and is making me feel really lousy about myself. I can't understand how someone who is intelligent enough to write an A+ Master's Thesis, can't figure out how to get to work on time or do simple things like that right? I would love to know who does ADD coaching, I am in SBend, IN, but it's doubtful someone local does this or I would have found out about them by now. Any help or suggestions. Thanks for listening( well reading!). It helps to know someone else is out thereHere's a link to a great article about ADD Coaching: http://www.add.org/articles/what_add_coaching.html
