Newly diagnosed, book recommendations? | ADHD Information

Hello everyone!

I'm newly diagosised, and I would love to get a couple books on ADD and coping skills for adults. Can anyone recommend the best? I don't want to just start buying books, we all know where that can lead.

Thanks for any and ALL advice!

Rachel

I'm currently reading Healing ADD by Dr. Amen.  Very informative and helpful for me.  I especially like the way he breaks down the different types of AD and how to control them.  I have tried the St. John's Wort and Omega 3 supplements he suggests and it definitely makes a difference. Thanks! Driven to Distraction by Edward Hallowell and J. Ratey... This is the bible for ADD stuff.  I even gave my copy to my mom and my own copy to a colleague questioning son's problems, and didn't get them back!  Let me know if this helps.
