My 7 year old son has ADHD is current taking 15mg of Adderall XR. He has only been on meds for 4 weeks and has been doing quite well in school. However, I have noticed that when the meds wear off about 7:30 at night he becomes very aggitated and his mood swings are awful. I spoke too his peditrician about this and she said to keep him on the Adderall and perscribed Clonidine 0.1mg and have him take only half in the evening. One the first night he was a little better and went right to sleep. And when I checked on him he seemed to be in a deep sleep and then he woke up in the middle of the night because he peed the bed (Alot). I am not too alarmed yet since it was just the first night, and he still has accidents at night every now and then anyway especially if he is very tired.
I just wanted to know if anyone else out there was on this combo of meds and how they are doing?
