Help with cost of testing | ADHD Information

Hi

I am looking for any information on getting help with the cost of outside testing. We go for testing in June and my half to pay is 00. Just looking for help because I am a single parent. Any information will be helpful.

While I am not an ADD coach, I am a mother who has been where you are.  Why isn't the school paying for the testing?  Have you asked them, in writing, to test your child? If you have insurance you might want to look into it. I have Blue cross Blue shield PPO in the book i just received, it said the only way it would be covered is if ADD/ADHD was in the book of International classification of diseases http://www3.who.int/icd/vol1htm2003/fr-icd.htm Tamaraw196938513.6013888889camommy is correct,at least in Ca. The school district is required to do
the testing. Write a letter and keep a good paper trail of all
corresponcence. The school district is not requried to do the testing because they can say that they do not see a need for the testing. Yes, I did write a letter asking them to test my child and they told me it was not needed. My insurance paid half of the bill and the 00.00  was my part to pay out of pocket. I have read alot and know alot about my child's rights. The schools think that most parents don't have the money for outside testing and will drop it after the school will not test. I would like to tell any parent that the money is well spend on this test because all  of the questions that you have about why your child is not learning will be discover this way. Thanks for the help!
