P.S.  Not to mention, I actually have money left in my bank account to buy a decent watch, even though I got paid a week ago. Guess these meds are doing something after all!

I've worn a watch religiously since I was little. Not that I am ever on time to anything, but I still need to know what time it is as often as possible. I freak out if I don't know the time, possibly because I do things like go to a bookshop and browse for 2 hours.

The strap broke on my watch a few years ago. I have no idea how many years ago, maybe 2, maybe 5. Either way, I never got around to fixing it, even though it was a 10 minute job.

Unluckily, I got a mobile phone with time on it, at around the same time as my watch broke, so I never had a big incentive to fix the watch.

Finally I fixed the stupid watch but I'm so out of practice wearing one I hardly look at it and I always forget to put it back on after a shower.

Tomorrow I'm going to go and buy a big ugly sporty waterproof watch with an alarm, timer, hourly beep, and anything else I am offered.

Has anyone done this, and does it help with your ADD, or am I just indulging my impulsive nature and love of gadgets.

I need a watch that beeps every hour to remind me what planet I am on, otherwise I have my lunch break at 4pm everyday.

I looked on my best friend - the internet, but I couldn't find much on good watches for ADHDers. Maybe none of them got around to getting one yet, or they kept missing the shops.

Do any of you use a watch or something else to keep track of the day?

I'm thoroughly impressed by this!  You give me hope.
