Priz, I am like that on adderall, too.
But after 4 years, I'm starting to get impatient on it. Impatient w/myself, b/c I know I won't be able to learn everything I want to learn before the high wears off.
I also get offended when people waste my time. For most people, it's not as big a deal. If someone distracts them w/ B.S. they can finish what they were doing later. Not for me though. Because later the drug will be gone, & the quality of everything I try to do will be kicked down a notch.
I dream big on adderall, usually too big. One of the symptoms of AD/HD is inaccurate self-perceptions. When I'm on adderall I feel like I can do anything. When I come down, I feel like I CAN'T do anything. You are lucky that you don't appear to have that problem.

Since I started taking Aderall, I automatically stopped smoking pot to focus and stopped drinking and I really enjoy the freedom plus it saves money. Now I read and do experiments to see what I can read and have been finding I can read anything even if it does'nt intereast me. Maybe I can get a degree finally at 48. But my mind wants to learn now and talk to people who are intereasted in growing, learning and letting others know there's light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to keep trying and not give up. If you don't agree with a Doctors prognois or meds find another, read and do research. I'm becoming open to so many possibilities it gets exilerating and confusing at the same time. Its like opening Pandora's box but in a good way... Any suggestions. I just want to make up for lost time. Thanks
PS I found out I had ADHD 12 yrs ago and tried 10 or more meds got sick of them not working. Then a month ago tried again
