Stratterra and high blood pressure | ADHD Information

Be sure an monitor your blood pressure when starting and continuing Stratterra. Saddly many pdocs (mine included)  do not check blood pressure after prescribing these drugs. I have monitored my blood pressure since starting Stratterra and it jumped over 40 points (180/100) My pdoc kinda of freaked out when I told him at my appointment today. He gets the cuff out and his eyes got big at the readings. No more Stratterra for me.
  Yeah that's a biggie. Adderall does that too. I take it sparingly.Major problem with me on Strattera but not Adderall.  I almost ended up in hospital last week because my blood pressure shot up so much and the doctor was worried.  I stopped Strattera and my blood pressure returned to normal.
