| Adderall in Mexico | |||
|
This is a legitimate question - I am not an addict or uninformed teenager trying to get Adderall without a prescription. I heard that it is possible to buy many prescription medications over the counter in Mexico (Zoloft for example). Does anyone know if it is possible to buy Adderall XR this way? I am in Canada where the drug has been taken off the market and I am trying to find a way to buy it. It would be legal for me to buy a 3-month supply and bring it into Canada for my own use. It's an old post but the answer is no. You can't get any amphetamines in Mexico. You can get Ritalin but then you have to smuggle it back to the US side, risky stuff. Isn't Ritalin an amphetamine? The smuggling doesn't apply because I am legally allowed to bring into Canada a 3-month supply of my prescription. I have a prescription - just can't get it filled since Adderall XR was taken off the market here. Do you have Adderall XR in Japan?Ritalin is not an amphetamine, it's in a different class. A Canadian prescription is only valid in Canada. I personally don't care for adderall I have about 4 bottles sitting at home, I don't even bother to refill them anymore. In Japan amphetamines of any type have been banned for many years, Ritalin is the only thing available. The Japanese (because of their insane work ethic) are susceptible to amphetamine abuse, in fact the Japanese discovered/created D-amphetamine. But in Japan they have gneki drinks (energy drinks) that will really tweak you up.
Interestingly enough the Ritalin in Japan comes already crushed haha. Dunno about Mexico -- or stimulants at international pharmacies -- but on a related topic you can get Xanax in Thailand, just walk in and ask for it. I used to take Restoril (Temazapam), one of the less strong benzodiazepines when traveling -- on planes to force sleep on 11 hour flights and for about 4-5 nights upon return to force sleep at night. I would get a scrip from my regular doctor prior to a trip. Once I forgot, and only had a few left. So I decided to go to a pharmacy in Bangkok. The pharmacist looks in her little meds book and says this will work as a substitute ... Alprazolam. I had told her I just needed it for sleep while readjusting. When I got home, I took one as she indicated and I slept 12 hours! Yikes. When I told a friend what had happened, he said "Wow, Xanax, do you have more?" I had only bought five tabs. He said I should have bought a hundred! (Turns out Xanax is one of the strongest benzodiazepines ... quite popular, and heavily abused.) I'm sure you can't get amphetamines in Thailand. The country has a huge problem with the amph pill known as Yaba ('yah bah'), primarily swallowed (not snorted or smoked) it is the Thai equivalent of crack. Many, many addicts. Dealing it often results in death when met with gunfire from the Royal Thai Police. They prefer that to arresting dealers ... "the suspect was armed and aimed the weapon at police". Amnesty International even complained about the spectacular number of extrajudicial killings, something like 2,000 in a recent period of about 2 years.
in fact the Japanese discovered/created D-amphetamine.
Dextroamphetamine is just the mirror isomer of Levoamphetamine. They both have differing effects, the D isomer being more dopaminergic, and the L isomer more sympathomimetic. According to Erowid: 1887 -- Amphetamine was first synthesized by German chemist L. Edeleano and originally named phenylisopropylamine. It was then largely forgotten for the next 40 years. |
