In my opinion, golf is not only extremely boring to watch, but even more boring to play. I have played twice, and it's like standing in lines all day at Disneyland, but without the rides to break up the monotony.
I wonder if it's an ADD friendly sport.
floofthegoof38505.3784375I've played a couple of holes. Admittedly I've only played small local courses that werent busy. Its a lot of fun for me, because it's something new that I dont care about. It's just funny to see how badly I can do. It's the sort of thing where I say "yeah, I'd love to play more" after my annual 'finally got time to go there' trip to the course, then I promptly forget about it for another year. LOL yeah mini golf is fun. I usually am into it the first 8 holes then kinda get bored and just hit the ball everywhere and climb on the obsticale but still it's a good time. Heheh, yeah I'm astonishingly bad at golf as well. I should admit that also.LOL could never get into golf. Too much standing around, waiting your turn. I'm more the football basketball type need to be running and moving constantly. I don't mind mini-golf. But I get frustrated extremely quickly if I start doing badly.

how about disc-golf? i love that. we charge through the course, up and down hills, through the trees looking for the disc i lost......
with me every toss is different and i can't remember how i did what i did when i did something good!
in fact, kayaking is scary for the same reason- every time i open my eyes, i can't remember where i am or what the right path through the rapids is.
The other second boring sport is bowling. My husband likes it but to me boring.Golf Yuck. Of all sports, I have least wanted to play golf. It seems like bowling without the air conditioner and without arcade games all around and without the funky shoes or some cool device to bring you back your ball.[QUOTE=GarbagePailKid]Golf Yuck. Lol! those ball returners are kindof mysterious and cool. I get the feeling if you got stuck in one it would grind you to hamburger.
