Stimulants that don’t cause weight loss? | ADHD Information

Share
Hi, I have been on Adderall for about 8 weeks and have been losing too much weight. My Dr will probably take me off of it next week. Are there any of you that tried a stimulant that doesn't cause so much appetite decrease? I like what Adderall does, but I can't stop losing weight. Thanks! If you are an overweight adult the weight gain will slow after a while.  You didn't say how old you are or how much you weigh now.I'm a 5'4" woman and when I started regular-release generic Adderall (about 7 months ago) I weighed 135. I lost 10 lbs within a month and I've stayed at 125 since then. The weight loss does slow down and eventually stop. If you're concerned, try eating a healthy but calorie-rich breakfast before you take your first pill.

Hi, I am not overweight and am 31 years old (female). I have lost 10 pounds and am down to 112.5. My friend said I look 'frail'. I can see it in photos. I try to eat high calorie/dense foods, but it doesn't help. I have even cut my dose in 1/2 and I still stay the same or lose weight. Very frustrating since the Adderall is working.
